Moby Dick

I do like the Porsche 935, it’s such a great example of “interpreting the rules”.  Porsche built the racing car they wanted and then said it was actually derived from the road-going 911.  Which was a whopper, it had just enough bits of the original hidden under the racing parts to make it legal.  Like sticking a Fiat 500 badge on a Ferrari and hoping no-one notices.  The 935/78 was the ultimate factory version, sporting huge aerodynamic wings and tail – so it was called “Moby Dick”.  Who doesn’t want a T-Shirt with that written on it 🙂
